United States Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland (pictured right) has not yet been issued a Russian visa, Moscow’s Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov said on Sunday.
« She was not given a visa, » Antonov said briefly, answering a question during a press conference after a report previously claimed that Nuland’s visit to Russia was being negotiated by Moscow and Washington.
The American diplomat was blacklisted in Russia in 2019, as a part of the country’s response to sanctions imposed by the US Treasury Department.
